Most intelligence still lives behind somebody else's endpoint, account, policy, and price. Models will change. The system around them—your memory, tools, permissions, machines, and history—is what must endure.

A complete local path.
Foundation is not a cloud chat wrapper. A long-lived local daemon coordinates models, memory, tools, agents, permissions, and durable work. The desktop window is one client of that system.

Restraint
Local is not a degraded fallback. Cloud can expand capability, but it does not become dependency. Foundation should use only the machinery the work deserves.

A Rust daemon, local model supervision, an OpenAI-compatible inference plane, capability-aware routing, Spaces, Bots, scoped memory, tools, approvals, policy enforcement, browser control, and a Tauri desktop client.

Foundation Linux guest images, durable phones, Vault, and the complete Cowork and Factory experiences.
We will not present ambition as availability.

Make abundant intelligence a capability people can own, direct, and build upon.
We imagine humanity as a spacefaring civilization living with abundance—of energy, materials, opportunity, and especially intelligence. Foundation is the ground beneath human agency, not the destination.
